Ideas on What to Do With Leftover Halloween Candy!

Halloween is over and we are sure your little ones came home a ton of candy! Now, the real trick here is deciding what to do with it, besides the obvious choice of eating it all? (I say this, as I eat my 3rd tootsie roll!)  Now before you go overboard by indulging a little more than you should on those treats, check out these fun alternatives we found that you can do to put all that sugar to good use.
CANDY JEWELRY
This is such a fun activity you can do with your little ones.  We find the gummy candies work the best.

FREEZE IT AND ADD TO MILKSHAKES
This idea may not save you on the sugar calories, but will definitely get your kids excited about milkshake time!
Get the recipe here: My Baking Addiction
FOR ADULTS ONLY- PAIR IT WITH WINE (Like you need an excuse to have either!)  The chocolate, caramel, nuttiness of Snickers go great with tawny ports and the cookie-like Twix goes well with a smooth Scotch,  suggests StarChefs.com.
SAVE IT FOR YOUR KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY
Stuff it into the piñata or fill up the goodie bags .

MAKE A RECIPE
Frozen Peanut Butter Cup Banana Pops (Something healthy in there, right?!)

CREATE YOUR OWN TRAIL MIX
Mix the sweet candy with salty pretzels and nuts (check if you have cereal leftover in the cupboard to add, too) and make an easy and delicious trail mix.
